Pc audio Distortion - please help

I have been looking around the web and I cannot find any kind of answer to my problem, My pc's audio works fine it plays music perfectly and all system sounds are fine etc but whenever I open up a web browser and open up my home page or any other web page my audio becomes very dlow and distorted, when the web page finishes loading it becomes clear again. But even more annoying when i download things ( which is constantly) my audio is affected until the download or multiple downloads finish, which for me using bittorrent can be a long time, or its even affected from downloading audio on limewire - I hope someon e can help me as this is and extremely annoying problem....

Does this happen in any browser - have you tried both Internet Explorer and FireFox or any others?

look in control panel under sounds and audio.look under audio make sure everything is playing through your sound card.hope this works

Yes, this problem happens on both browsers, but as i mentioned even any download client applications that access the internet. and rugripper, I use an inbuilt soundcard. But i have not mentioned - this is a NEW problem alhough I have had my pc for atleast 18 months and have had no such problems like this in the past.

oh,maybe the config. got messed up some how.even with a onboard sound card drivers can get corrupted by the internet.maybe its that not sure.just trying to help.peace

yeah, thanks anyway man, btw i installed a new driver, which doesn't corrupt with my web browsers but does with limewire still.
