this heatsink is huge.
1.can anybody help me install this hs/fan on motherboard
2.confused on how this connect to mb
3.i have a asrock 939-sata 2 motherboard,theres a black box around
where the cpu goes
4.do i take that off to install heatsink?
5.also on the black box these two holes that go through the mb
6.do i have to go out to buy long screws to connect through mb


please help alittle confussed want to build this pc but im stuck also the pc store about ten miles away will put the heatsink and processor on board for 35 bucks but im afraid the static electricity will ruin the board.hey thanks in advance

HI! ALL multiple socket hsf specially for p4 and amd 64 are meant to be seateat using that black square also check on asus webpage for compatibility.

the fan comes with anything you need to install it no need for extra hardware.

and you must remove the mobo out of the case to do it

thats funny ,teach and learn ddp,its in lets just hope it fires up.waiting on sound card from ups should be here today.what kind of boot disk do i make for flashing bios.i read somewhere you never use xp.you are suppose to use win 98 for boot disk.is that right or wrong?

With my ASUS mobo, I flash in Windows, each time an update comes out. I have never had a problem.
