hi
im having trouble with my bittorrent speeds im using a motorola modem and i have adelphia high speed internet and no firewall
the problem is that a few months ago i would get speeds up too 200kbps, then i moved to another house now all i get max 35kbps it never goes past that.i also tried all the diferent bt clients same for all of them
does anyone know waht could be causing this and how i can fix it?

may be a silly question but have you checked that your new house phoneline is capable of high speed

just keep going with it it may just be congested i had the same problem a few months ago i was getting 260kbps and it just droped to 8 kbps for about two weeks i tried changing my client but nothing happend then it just picked back up again i think it may have been my isp (tiscali)i think the problem was with them it may be the same case for you.

thanks for the replies well i think i found the problem
its with adelphia they did somethin to the account and now i have 256k internet instead of 2mb.......bastards.........
