hi everyone at afterdawn!!!!
does anyone know anything better than sonic that can convert mpeg to dvd in less than 20 hours and still keep good quality???

the length converted into dvd would be about 4 gigs...
sonic does the job to convert the mpeg's into dvd but it takes soooo long,,,

wow is it ever good burning software... good quality and fast... i was sick of trying 2 burn with Nero and i downloaded the trial for CopyToDVD... also a great program,,,, i think i might even buy it to support them,,,

I use the ImToo Mpeg comverter and when I convert my mp4 file to mpg, the quality stays great, but when I play it using VLC, the clock down the bottom says that the movie plays for 1hour48mins, whereas the original is only 53mins. The playing time skips through quickly, but the video still looks good. Any idea whats happening?
The same happens for converting to VOB files and other formats.
Also, I was wondering, if once you convert it to VOB files, can I then use copy2dvd to burn to a dual layer disc? not only with the program, but also with the problem I'm having?

Hi all,
Ok im a newbie and need to ask.............. hey you too were a newbie.Can somone please advise me on how i would go about taking a movie SVCD on 2 CD-r and covert,join or whatever and make it into a dvd to fit onto a DVD disc.......................sorry if it inconveniences anyone but your help would be appreciated

Maybe you can copy it on your pc hd,then do the conversion to dvd,then burn it.
To make conversion,i suggest you use WinAVI,it can megre the two VCD into one file.You can have a try,
