I used the splintercell softmod exploit and it was working fine until i installed the unleashX dashboard. Now i cant get access to any of my saves or dashboards. I can still play games though. But i dont have my game saves. WTF am i supposed to do.

guys i have the same problem!!! i used splinter cell and now i cant go to my memory or get on halo 2 xbox live. yes i can still play games. and when i put in the splinter cell game it doesnt ask me about deleting soft mods. and i acidently deleted my linux and all those files. what can i do to fix this? im going crazy not being able to play LIVE!

Download an auto-instaler (auto installer deluxe, Slayers autoinstaller etc etc) and use that to re-install the M$ dashboard or whatever dashboard your using. Get the installers off Xbins

You are doing somthing wrong. Make sure you write down all the information that Xbins gives you and enter it. (Server, Port, Login Name, Password) etc etc.

once i get my password and stuff from xbins its the same thing as my nickname and the password is always the same. then when i enter it into the FlashFXP it says i cant connect.

man i must have tried about 20 times now and let me tell you the sht doesnt work. I dont even know if im doing it right. i tried to turn the xbox on with the disk tray open but that didnt work either. im pretty sure i could ftp into my xbox and delete the files but i dont know my IP address. HELP!

did you do what http://www.xbox-scene.com tell you to do maybe if you have your xbox on
and then do it and disable you Norton Antivirus and then try it ok and then tell me if it
worked

I did it! i had to use smart ftp instead of FlashFXP to transfer the auto installer. i have the auto installer but what do i do now?

Burn it to disc preferibly CD-RW and place it in your Xbox drive.

This all could have been avoided if you would have installed the softmod right and backed up your eeprom and MS dash and backed up your C and E folder on the Xbox.

i did it. now i tried to install my original dash from the auto installer, but that didnt work. every time i start the xbox i get an error 21 or something. i can still play games but it wont let me access the dash or the auto installers disk. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I softmod xbox's alot and whenever a friend wants it off this is what I do.
1. download slayers installer
2. open it and u should see a stock C: drive
3. FTP into ur modded xbox and delete the contents of the C: and E: and replace them with the ones from the installer.
all my friends that play Live usually have 2 hard drives 1 with this setup and 1 with their softmod and backups
