@damit, This Movie is EASY if you use AnyDVD with CloneDVD 2.
Back-Up The Main Movie in about 20 minutes.Start to finish, and YES, AnyDVD is worth the 39 bucks, and then some! You can download BOTH programs mentioned here, AnyDVD + CloneDVD 2 for FREE 21 day trial use. You can buy BOTH for a discounted price if bought as a "package". I believe both sells for 59 bucks when purchased together. This combo is so far unstoppable. There are literally No Commercial DVDs it can't back-up. I speak from experience. I BOUGHT both programs long ago. Best Money I ever spent. Hope this helps you.
Use The Best Media for The Best Burns! TYs, Verbs,(Made in Taiwan) Sony MIJs (YUDEN000 T02), Sony Made in Taiwan DVD+R 16x, Maxell MIJ, RITEK G05.

I have tried dvdfab decryptor, dvd decryptor(with and without AnyDVD, with and without psl file imported), clone dvd2 and AnyDVD, dvdshrink all possible scenarios. NONE of them worked.
I've read several of the ways others have done it, I tried it and it didn't work for me. If anyone who has been successful (playback works) has any suggestions I would appreciate them. I think I'm up to 8 or 9 bad copies (different suggestions from threads) that won't play back or even be recognized by computer or dvd player.

Tell us exactly what the errors say. Are you getting a partial rip before getting an error message? Are you ripping from the burner drive or from another DVD-ROM drive? What is the make and model number of your burner?

o.k first thing you need to do is get the latest version of dvdfab decrypter and DVD Shrink. once you have those decrypt it with dvdfab. after that just open up dvdshrink and then go to open files. find the file you saved it to then navigate to the ts video file and then push ok. after it analyzes it push backup. after it backs it up just use Nero or whatever burning app your using to burn to disk. same thing there, burn the ts video file. hope this helps.

damit, first of all you'll get lots of great advice on this forum. I know I have. You'll also find there are often several ways to accomplish whatever you are trying, as evidenced by the various posts. Whatever programs you end up using is usually related to which ones you are comfortable with. If you find something that works, stick with them, but don't hesitate to try others to find new ways to do the same things. Sometimes it comes in handy. One I know worked for me on Bewitched was using DVD Decrypter v 3.5.4.0 after importing the PSL file (errored out without the PSL). Decrypter then decrypted it without a hiccup. Then I used DVD Shrink to bring it down to disc size and then returned to Decrypter for the burn. Got everything that was on my purchased copy, (including the many, many previews - could have done without those, but like it to be an exact copy when possible). There may be easier ways, but this worked for me. Anyway, be assured it is possible and if the folks here can't help you with something, it probably can't be done.

Hi there,
Quote: I dont really have the funds to be buying AnyDVD.
In theory, you are suppose to backup DVDs that you own, so that means you must have purchased the Bewitched DVD not ?
AnyDVD will cost you the same price as a DVD, and it's worth every penny :)

I am in the same boat on the movie Bewitched and on Stealth. After doing some research I have come to the conclusion that on some of the newer dvd burners there is some hardware that will stop me from burning these movies. I have backed up several other movies but not these two. I have tried everything from DVD Shrink to AnyDVD. Sometimes dvd shink says it cant recognise the dvd structure. If the problem is the new dvd burners then I will buy and older one. I am using the BENQ 1640. However, if I am wrong please let me know!

Are you using AnyDVD version 5.5.1.1 ? The Bewitched issue has been resolved.
