Ive been reading in this site about invites for private torrent sites, tbh im amazed how many ppl are openly trading them. Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with trading invites but at some stage you may invite the wrong person and then bingo weve all lost that site! Just because someone is a member of this site does not mean they are trustworthy when it comes to filesharing. There is only 1 user on here I would give a invite to, because I know he runs a private torrent site. Am I paranoid? maybe. Do I trade invites with ppl I know? Definately. But I want the torrent sites I`m a member of to be around a while.

I really doubt that if the fbi feels like investigating a torrent site they go here and ask for invites... I think they have other methods lol...

My guess that all web investigations must have a start point, whether it be FBI,MPAA,RIAA,BPI or whoever what better place to start than a site like this! Then the "other methods" would come into play.

I've just received the right to invite people to the first private tracker I've joined. I don't personally know anyone who could use this invite, so therefore I would like to trade them to people in similar situations. Obviously I don't want to do this willy nilly or I'd have announced what site it is, but invites aren't usually allowed as soon as you join and the trackers are pretty good at booting people off before the RIAA takes notice. Anyhoo, I like the idea of publicly traded invites. Don't most of these sites have an invite tree? That's what keeps us honest.
