I have a sony dru720a -/+ rw drive with latest firmware and a p4 2.2 gig pc. I bought a pc game (dvd)heroes of the pacific at newegg.com. I noticed that I got the the european version code masters Instead of ubisoft, which I was not aware of on the web site. Will my drive play this game properly on my pc and is this drive considered region free for pc games only.

do ntsc and pal format only effect xbox and playstation games and not dvd=/-rw drives on a pc. I played game and it seems okay so i do not want mess up my drive.
