Hey, i have a mp3 player that orders the songs by track number, i have found that if i change each track number to "0" it will alphebetise all the tracks for me. Im looking for a converter that could completly remove the track count for me so it will automaticly alpehbetise the songs (changing 1000+ track counts will be a huge pain in the ass for me.

Im also looking for it to change the format/quality so i can squeeze more songs onto the mp3 player

Tag & Rename can move track numbers from multiple files at once. Here is the website = http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm

Tag & Rename can't change bit rates or formats but dBPoweamp can. Here is the website = http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

Hey, i cant seem to figure out how to get the track number off in "tag&rename" could ya give me a pointer or two? thanks alot!

1) Once you have located the file you want to rename, check the box.

2) Click On F2

3) Then Look Under the rename variables and look at which variables you want when you rename the files ie if you want the file to be just be called the title of the song, you'll want '%2' to be put in the 'file name mask' box (4)

Then Click RENAME! done! :)
