and i want to get this memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141108
the user manual say something about 184 pin being 2.5v and the pqi ram is 2.8v will it still work

ok im useing 1 stick of 512 sdram right now and i have a 256 of ddr laying around would it be beter use 2 512 of sdram or a 512 and a 256 of ddr

ddr is faster than sdram but also depends on cpu bus speed. sdram is old technology compared to ddr ram.

You would be better off with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141215 as it's more suited to your mobo & there's 1GB of it for the same price ....

Hi
I was wondering is the cpu bus speed dependant on the ram installed?
I have built a machine using a KV2 LITE EXTREME MOBO and a AMD64 Processor 3000+.I used the ram from my old comp 1.25gig of pc2100, and the cpu is running at 200mhz. If i installed pc2700 ram would this increase the the speed from 200mhz, or would i see any real significant difference?
Any help greatly appreciated.
