i heard that you could download stuff using irc. i a newbie to this irc thing. how do you use irc? what do i need? any help would be great. thanks

ircmadeeasy.com has a good guide for new IRC users. so does Slyck.com - http://slyck.com/irc.php

to get onto IRC, you need an IRC client ie mIRC for Windows,KLIENT (IRC scripted client), Polaris (mIRC scripted client), Excursion (yet another mIRC scripted client).. BitchX is one for Nix (Unix/Linux)

Start by reading one of the guides I supplied before doing anything. IRC cna be frsutrating at first but you can figure most of it out by doing your homework/research before diving headfirst in
