can someone tell me... is lindows/linspire or whatever capable of runnin all windows applications

Sound Blaster X-Fi elite pro---and your every day floppy disc reader so i can do school stuff for the stubborn teachers that wont let u use a usb memory stick....thats about it

Linspire wont run windows applications as it is a Linux core... It can only run Linux apps... You may be able to get some emulators that run windows apps but not all apps will run 100% correctly....

They had to change the name to Linspire as Lindows was to similure to the name Windows : )

EDIT:

Ive just come accross this, its called win4lin, it allows windows apps to run on Linspire like i said before... http://www.win4lin.com/

But still think some apps might have an issue? You could try it though? Or pay a little extra and get WindowsXP. : )
