On my computer (not this computer) but a different computer in my house sends like 65 packets and receives like 5, therfore it cannot connect to the internet or any other online services. This is how everything in my house is wired. The main computer downstairs (the one im typing on) is right next to the modem and the modem is hooked up to a wireless router and this computer. Then the wireless router downstairs (here) sends signals upstairs to a laptop and to a gaming adapter. Now this gaming adapter was intended for xbox live. I disconnected the wireless router from the xbox and hooked the gaming adapter into another wireless router upstairs (I plugged it into the WAN port) Now there are 2 other ethernet cords going from that wireless router to the xbox and another to the other computer upstairs. The other computer upstairs says it is connected but it cannot connect to any online services (ie. Internet or AIM) it says it sends a lot of packets but receives not a lot. How can i get it to receive more packets or enough to get me connected to the internet. Thanks I really need this help!

The first wireless router is a router/switch I presume? Things would probably be a lot easier and more stable if you would use a cabled second switch connected to your downstairs router (-switch?) and then use cabled connections upstairs for all your computers / xboxes..
