Alright i am one of the people still stuck with 56K Dial up (Hate IT) becuase i cant get DSL or Cable.

So i have a Dynex M300 Modem (External USB) and my modem is starting to hang by pages more often most noticable is This site and Xbox Scene. I am running Windows XP Pro and Firefox 1.0.7

I was wondering if anyone knew what is causing this i can go to a web site and browse it and then ill click on a link and the modem will just sit there the page says Loading but the modem shows no activity on its flashing DATA light which it does whenever anything loads. Then eventually the page will Timeout but in this time the connection will still stay on.


Any Ideas!
