I copied to HD using DVD Decrypter a DVD5, it plays just fine in my stand alones, but not in my PC. When I try to view the files on the DVD-R or play them it says insert disc. What do I do? What have I done wrong? Thanks. GBH

Check your drive and settings, it may not be the disk, but the dvd drive. Try playing other dvds(burned, not, etc...) to see if they work. Did you just upgrade to a new OS recently? If so, are the drivers correct? There are many things that can go wrong to cause this problem.

I have had a similar problem and funnily enough it was the blank media I was using.

Played fine in standalones BUT not the pc, anyway I changed media and it cured the problem.

Also what burning software r u using cos I heard wierd things about nero causing this problem by not closing the disc properly BUT cheaper standalones were not fussy and would play them.

Hope this gives you another line of enquiry.
