I had one chance to burn this game using a method mentioned on this website about rebuilding iso's to work with swap magic. Well, knowing that:
1) i copied the disc with DVD Decrypter, made an iso image on my desktop.
2) I opened the image with isobuster.
3) created a new folder on my desktop, and opened that folder.
4) dragged the files from iso buster one by one, in order they are listed, to the window i had open from creating the new folder.(DON"T ADD THE DUMMY.BIN)
5) created a new text document( right click desktop, go to new, scroll down to text document) opened it up, pressed the space bar and hit close.
6) renamed the new text file on my desktop(right-click, scroll down to rename) called it DUMMY.BIN
7)Dragged DUMMY.BIN into the window where you dragged the files from ISO buster.
8) Closed ISO buster but keep the new folder window open, you must know the order to them.
9) opened Nero Burning ROM ( new window pops up, scroll down to (UDF/ISO) make sure no multisession is selected then hit new.
10)Then Locate the new folder that you have open on the Nero pane.
11)Start dragging the files from the Nero pane in the order they are in your opened folder window. (nero will reorganize them, thats fine, just follow the order you put them in the folder)
12) burned at 4x (you can burn them at a higher speed if you wish) i burned it slower just to test it out, and it loads fine, but a little slow at times.
I used k-hypermedia DVD-R 8x, which isn't that great of media, but apparently it doesn't matter for me because all my backups work just fine with this method.
Once its done you should have a perfect backup of Castlevania: Curse of darkness. I do own the game and value it so i made sure that i backed it up right away. Its too good a game to lose to incorrect care.

I have been rebuilding games that need it and do the same steps as mentioned by rednuts but instead of nameing the DUMMY.BIN file as DUMMY.BIN. I simply just name it DUMMY and that is it.I then delete the original DUMMY.BIN file and it works perfectly all the time with SM 2.0 which is all I use.

Also if you havent tried it, something I learned myself today, burn it at a low speed...4x or lower and see if that helps.

You need to overwrite the original dummy files, by naming the new ones the same thing. If you change the name, they won't work. Burn at 4x on a quality 8x DVD-R. Rebuilding with Nero and Isobuster is pretty easy. Use Hursty's guide, it works great: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949

Yeah, i was trying to find that guid cause in my first post i knew it was on this site somewhere, i just couldn't think of the name. But yeah, you follow that and it should work perfect. Every game i have backed up before hand was with game cloner and it just wouldn't work with EA sports games then i found that post and from then on i have used it.

I made the image file with Alcohol 120% and burned it with Alcohol, works perfectly with Swap Magic 3.3, but the only problem is in the cut scenes, the voices skip, has anyone else had this problem?

How big is the mds file? If it's over 4.38GB's rebuild using Nero and Isobuster using the guide above. If not burn at 4x on a quality 8x DVD-R with DVD Decrypter.

The Image file is 3,439,840 KB (3.4GBs), and using Maxell DVD-R 8x and burned at 4x, also I can't make an ISO file with DVD Decrypter, because I get an error when I try to burn the ISO with DVD Decrypter, anyone know why?

What kind of error do you get? Theorectically it shouldn't need rebuilt. Try burning at 1x or 2x. If that doesn't work, then try rebuilding.

Close a couple windows while recording. An I/O error usually means you're using cheap media or the disc is scratched or dirty.

The problem is it works if I make the image on my Laptop, it will burn using the same media, and I have burned things i've downloaded that were .iso with DVD Decrypter, and i don't get any errors.
