Please forgive me if I missed this,but if it is ok to ask, what program and how can I successfully burn my downloads. Dvd Shrink rolls,and Ulead closes. I have good media,clean disks, and Windows Xp,Any DVD,and double burner. So what am I doing wrong now?

You should get Nero 6 or 7.Nero is the best all round program for making dvds.You can buy it off ebay for $5.00 or someting.Or you can get a trial version off www.Nero.com.

Thanks! I have Nero- it works with my other programs. DVD FAB and ULEAD don't like each other. Besides ULEAD is there a fast,high quality way to burn files, preferbly with a wizard for the inept?

What kind of files are you downloading? .AVI or DVD-files?

Are you downloading movies.if you are you can use nerovision express to burn them to disc.

Try using the program WinAVI, its quite simple but versatile. It allows for video conversion between lots of formats, with plent yof options. You can also burn dvds/cds from it as well.

You know that rare phenonomon when after hours and hours and hours of troubleshooting, things just just magically work and you have no idea why? Just gotta love it! ;-)
