hi..

Before i start burning DL discs, i took a LOOONGG time to read around here.. and gathered some info..i have 10DL's and i wanna use up 8, so no room for error... plz tell me if im missing something... thnx!!!
--------------------
using DVD Decrypter to rip/decrypt into your hard drive first
first, have DVD Decrypter rip using Mode, File F to your hard drive
also:
** open up DVD Decrypter, go to Tools, and Settings
** at General on ?Removal Method? arrow down to ?Aggressive?
** at I/O [check] ?Ignore Read Errors?
** at CSS [check] ?Brute Force ŕ I/O key exchange, On Failure: use key from another file [YES]
** at ISO Write Mode, [check] ?Enable BURN-Proof
** at ?ISO Read Mode? and ?File Mode? [check/tick] on all of the Remove, Ignore, Patch and Create MDS file
have DVD Decrypter to write/burn back on as well (better with layer breaks i read)
change booktype settings to write as dvd-rom
------------------------
thnx to all the people who have contributed to these! :D

For a double layer disc all you should have to do is:

Start up DVD Decrypter.

Then choose:
MODE/ISO/READ To rip to hard drive

Then choose:
MODE/ISO/WRITE To burn. Choose the file that DVD Decrypter made for the source file.

You use file mode when you want to send the DVD through a program to recode from a DVD9 disc to a DVD5 disc or wanting to edit the movie.

With a double layer disc the above steps should work. You wont need to recode or edit the movie. DVD9=DVD-DL disc.

ahhhhhhhhh....
and hence the "FILE F"... ya, there is a guide around here somewhere that uses DVD Decrypter and Nero recode 2 and Nero burning rom from dvd9's to dvd5's.... a very nice guide if i may say.... my problem was that the dvd i had burrowed from a friend is alreayd authored and fixed up, so it never dropped under 4.7GB... so i just bought me some DL discs...
its good to know what the stuff mean though, im serious... (instead of just ignorantly checking wat u guys say ;P )...

here's a joke:
u should and try and put up a guide on how to format your computer, and go to Run, type cmd... then type format c:/... you will get Y/N..
be sure to hit Y. And circle it!!! hehehe..i bet ud get alotta complaints afterwards... :P... hehehee..

THNX for all the help....!!
