In your post, it was stated that installing the new version of Yahoo may not fix the error. Did you miss that part? You installed the newest version of Yahoo. It didn't fix it. Try a different browser.

Uninstall yahoo browser and just use internet explorer to get online. I assume this is what ya trying to do...right?

Or you could download FireFox, but I seem to have no problems with ie 6.....

Just go to control panel...then add remove programs and uninstall....then reboot....problem solved....

In Fact I never heard of a yahoo browser other than the toolbar that hijacks internet explorer. So it probaly spyware and microsoft antispyware can rid of it too....

But, you don't need to use their browser. You can use any browser you want. You get their browser, because you click on the SBC icon on your desktop.

Well there ya go. If you use dsl or cable internet or even satellite...you dont need anything except internet explorer......unless they require a password to use the interent.

I have cable modem and I dont require a password. Cause the service is tied into the mac address of my cable modem. So All I need to do is configure internet options and Im good to go..:>

So get rid of the sbc browser useing add/remove control panel and then open up internet explorer. Click tools...then internet options....go to coneections...then set up internet connection. Then go through the steps and your good to go...

Funny thing happened to me today. I dropped into Nero's website and saw that they had updates to Nero Ultra 6. The last ones that came out, were in August, so I downloaded the November updates (2), and installed them.

While it was installing the update for the main program (6.6.0.18.exe), I saw something about Yahoo flash by very quickly. I got done with that update, and installed the Nero Vision Express update.

I rebooted, and clicked on my internet icon. Guess what? The Yahoo toolbar was on my screen, right below the Address bar! What a crock of sh*t!

I uninstalled it, through Add/Remove programs, but Nero just dropped down to zero on my 0-10 scale. :(
