Sony has a DVD-R's out that are 4.7GB and hold 120 minutes of MPEG 2 video.
Has anyone tried these, and are they any good. They run about $1.00 U.S. which seams to be very reasonable. Here is a link.

Uh, any single layer 4.7GB DVD will be labeled as holding 120 minutes of video. Paying a dollar a disk is paying about 4 times too much. Sony media labeled as made in Japan will usually be Taiyo Yuden, arguably the best quality media available.

The best quality media is Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, and Fuji, Maxell, and Sony labeled as made in Japan. All can be had for 20 cents - 40 cents US per disk when on sale which is just about all the time.
