I have downloaded this and now have a list of files titled "e-boutrv" and they are numbered from 1-40 and also an e-boutre.sfv file.
I cannot open any of these with winrar as they are not compatible and the file type of these is not recognised by my pc.
Can anyone help with this please?

most games are backed up as rars and if your one is numbered 1 to 40 it sounds like it is. what extension is on the files that are numbered 1-40 . is it .rar . gzip etc. if you cant see there is a setting in windows that hides extensions for common file types. might be a good idea to disable that

ive had games like that before that are rar archives they were just named this way. open WinRAR by itself and go to open archive and where it says files of type change that to all files and then try and open the e-boutrv.001 file

the one I had was just like this, just click on the 01 file, then it should open up in WinRAR, then just right click the file and hit "extract to specified folder"....and boom!

ok when i double click on the 001 file here's what it says:

Windows cannot open this file

File: eboutrv.001

To open this file windows needs to know what program created it.
Windows can go online to look it up automatically or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer

thats why i said open WinRAR first. if you double click the file windows wont recognize it cos the extension is named wrong. open the WinRAR program first on its own then go file> open archive> change the files of type to all files and then open the .001 file. trust me ive seen this before

yes i have it but that will not open the file as it does not look like a little book with a belt around it like they normally do-it is a file not recognised by my pc.

what you have there is not the iso file but its the extracted contents of the iso file. here is what you need to do. create a folder somewhere and extract all those files into it. next open Nero and select new and choose dvd. select the bottom option dvd-rom udf/iso. then you need to drag and drop the extracted the files into the Nero compilation in the order you have listed and burn

Burnout Revenge is not a DVD-9 game. I backed it up successfully without any flaws.
