Hi all,

I hope this is the appropriate forum to post this question - I am a dvd-r newbie, but am also a software engineer and have tried to answer this question for myself, but no answer. So...

I want to rip 24/96 PCM audio to my DVD-R. I've tried a variety of tools including Steinberg DVD Architect, ifoedit, etc. I have the 24 bit 96 Khz wav files, but the software I have been using doesn't support (or seem to support) these high bit/sample rate audio streams.

I understand the basics of using low-bitrate black screen video and such, I just need a tool (ideally freeware) that won't muck with my files (DVD Architect resamples them DOWN - what a load!)

One more thing.. I do know about Disc Welder software, but I was hoping to do this with some free/shareware stuff - even if it means becoming VERY familiar with DVD specs and tools
