i recently downloaded a torrent (madden)and when i went to mount it on alcohol it was an unreconised file its a IMG file can anyone help with this itd be greatly appriciated

You need to mount a different extension. You should have one of the following:
cue,iso,bwt,cdi,b5t,ccd,mds,nrg,pdi

If you have either one of these you should be good to go. Try mounting with Daemon Tools as that has been the easiest for me.

aright well i dled a whole nother file and got it to install with alcohol but i can not find a no cd patch tried gameburnworld and gamecopyworld with no aveil i tried mounting with daemon and alcohol it never told me to insert cd but when i clicked play it just dosnt start i have pc requirements so thats not it anyone no what to do now thanks for the help

What version of Madden is it?

Also when you mounted it with Daemon, did you right click the icon in your tray and enable all options under emulation?

You've got a bad download. Try another one. The Madden06 torrent I got mounted/installed/played fine.
