**PLEASE HELP**
WHEN A PLACE A DVD MOVIE IN THE PLAYER/BURNER IT COMES UP WITH A
"TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly." AND

"This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled." THIS HAPPENS WHEN USING POWER DVD PLAYER.

ALSO WHEN USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER SIMILAR THING HAPPENS.
I AM ONLY NEW TO DVD STUFF SO ALL HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED BEFORE MY KIDS KILL ME.

It sounds as though there is a software lock preventing copy protected media from being outputed. From what I have learned in googling this, some video cards were not Macrovision approved and thus the software players are forced to disable the tv out port. There are a couple of solutions:

One is to rip a nonprotected copy of the DVD. The other is to use a software fix. Try AnyDVD (free 21-day trial). It makes any DVD appear to not be copy protected. Are you trying to output from your computer to a TV?

Thanks for the info, I have downloaded 'Anydvd' For some reason its working. Not sure what I did!!??
DVD Shrink worked fine. But when playing DVD it comes up.
Will keep trying anyway.
