Hello i have a PowerColour X800 Gt video card. I am used to pressing Alt-F5 to switch between displays but is it possible to run an extended desktop using a tv and a LCD monitor. I know i can do it with a second monitor but it would be cool if i could do it with a TV.
Whenever i select it as a Secondary monitor and hit enable i see a black line on my Tv as if it were trying to switch and then everything goes back to normal.

Any help would be greatly apprechiated

i know that you can do this with nvidia cards by right clicking the desktop, going to properties, then settings and there should be a picture of 2 monitors. click on the 2nd one and check the tick box which says "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor"
