is there anyway to set the target size to 4300 like in dvd shrink..i looked in the preferences tab but i didnt see anywhere for the target dvd size?

YES there is its right by the quality bar it will say... DVD-5..click the dropdown box click custom and set your target size there easy fix

Is 4300 the safest setting to make sure we are not too close the the edge ?

another way is use DVD5 (default settings) and copy movie only..

i i have no problem in CloneDVD copying the entire disk and viewing on a 40 inch screen

By default CloneDVD does not burn to the edge of the disk you can safely set it at 4400 and it will go back to 4300.

wow i cant believe some of you are saying to set it at 4500 thats way too close to the edge where the dye is unstable from what i've read..see here in another thread where i asked about this....
