dvdfab express 29 new version keeps crashing??? Why???

I have used dvdfab platinum & gold for over a year, I upgraded to the new version of dvdfab express & it keeps crashing & wanting me to send an error report??? i have unistalled re-installed what is going on?? it also did the same thing on my laptop?? why?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I was going to ask you if you did a windows update? or installed other programs? sometimes outside things can interfier with other programs ...... did you do a virus scan and deleted some adware or something like that....... I had trouble with some programs when I did that too! but you say it does the same thing on both computers....... I have DVDFab Express and did the update but haven't used the program yet....... can you go back to the previous version? when you uninstall do you do a registry clean up and then try to reinstall? it does make a difference! I wish you luck. I just had a problem with my email program..... I did a windows update and a virus scan (deleted some adware) and then I couldn't recieve emails!!!! I could only send out!!!!! Luckily I have an external hard drive and I restored my computer that way, cause windows system restore wouldn't work either! good luck!

I recently installed DVDfab to back up Stealth, but could not get it to write to the disc as it Crashed about 10 seconds before that.
Did a re-install and the same thing happened. It also asked me to send a report.
I will be looking for a remedy in this and other posts.

IHOE,

Thanks for responding so quick! I tried everything you suggested & it didn't work, but aftering spending my entire weekend trying to fiqure this out I loaded the older version into another computer & compared the all the newly loaded files with the files on the 2 computers that it will not work on & low & behold I found a problem!!
it seems if you have winamp installed it wants to add 2 files to this program there is definitly a conflict between dvdfab & winamp!!
I am uninstalling winamp & starting over again to see if I can get the new version going, I'll check back with my results later.

ahhhhhh so there is conflict with other software........... hmmmmmmmmmm I don't have winamp anymore ...... don't need it. and so far DVDFab Express new version is working fine for me.
