Within the last 30 minutes my HP Pavilion ZE5500 notebook computer has started showing a wave like flickering from left to right across the bottom top bar of my IE browser window. It does this for the window on top (that im typing using right now) as well as the ones behind it that i can see peeking out underneath the sides of browser window being used at the moment.
I am running windowsXP Professional SP2,version 2002. 7.69 GB free on an 80 GB hard drive, Mobile Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.66GHz, 448MB of RAM.
Last night i just added a new, external 160GB harddrive (Seagate)to my computer connected through my usb port. I think the usb ports i have are usb 1.0 ports, as i bought the computer about 2 years ago. I am looking to purchase a PC CardBus to USB 2.0 Adapter so i can utilize more useful speed usb port soon.
Anyone know what this flickering is from and why its happening. The desktop doesnt show this. Its just on the bottom portion of the top of the browser window - the 4th "bar". I have four rows of "tools" in my browser -
1 Top - shows file, edit, view, favorites, etc.
2nd - Back, Forward, Delete,Refresh,etc
3rd - address (internet address - http://.....)
4th - is yahoo browser addon, Yahoo symbol,searchbar, popupblocker,mail,etc.
