Limewire causing problems for my Dsl connection?

Can Limewire mess up your dsl connection? My dsl's been out for near 2 weeks , and the last thing they think could be it is my limewire is messing with it. Something with the file sharing and having uploads.
Can anyone help me with this problem. thnx

Nevermind , I uninstalled Limewire and my dsl still isn't working so that wasn't messing with it.

Try using another computer in the place of your computer (which previously had Limewire on it).

You know that rare phenonomon when after hours and hours and hours of troubleshooting, things just just magically work and you have no idea why? Just gotta love it! ;-)
