If you want to create a menu to select between the two titles, you'll need a (re)authoring program such as Nero Vision, DVD Lab, TMPGEnc Author, etc. Otherwise DVD Shrink can do it in reauthor mode. The titles will play sequentially and there will be no menu though.

Here is a guide with pictures on how to use DVD Shrink in "Re-author" mode to accomplish what you are wanting to do (NOTE: As previously mentioned, using this method, you will have no MENU) - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47252

laddyboy,

But Nerovisions layouts are horrible and do not even allow for the meny to have selections without icons/thumbnails. I was disappointed with the limit of menu editing in Nerovision.

Is there a simple, vesatile program to create a simple menu for a DVD which will contain a number of AVIs? All I want is a BG and some selections of text... Since there are so many titles I want to put on a single disc, Nerovisions layouts simply to not work well enough with their useless thumbnails on most.

Thanx alot!

PS... A QUICK link to a similar threads would be greatly appreciated.

dlavall64,

Open Nero vision, first youll add the video files you would like to place on DVDr. If it asks you to compress the titles or they wont fit, agree. Next> Edit menu - here you can change the menu background, layouts, buttons and so on, . At bottom, configure and in options/settings change convertion mode to 2-pass for better quality. Ok Ok. Next where you can burn it. Burn at 4x max. and dont forget to booktype to DVD-ROM for better compatability. Thats all I can remember from top of my head. Good luck.

Lyoooha, I agree that NVE is less than desireable if one has many titles to menu. You might try the trial versions of TMPGEnc Author and DVD Lab and see if they work better for you.
