Tried to copy 'war of the worlds' with DVDFab and Shrink. Shrink would not accept the DVDFab output. I am using DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.0. This combo worked for 'stealth' for me. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Next used Decrypter and skipped all of VTS 5. Then used IFOEdit to correct the IFOs. Shrink accepted it. (Note: I had already copied the movie with just Shrink which worked fine.) Don't understand why DVDFab would not work.

From what I understand, War of the Worlds doesn't have any special encryption on it, so you may just have a bad disc. Try cleaning it.

I had the same issue with FAB Decreptor. No error message, but Nero Recode cannot scan the files. I also use DVDDecrypter. Received an error message. I ignored it. So, far it is still working.

Here is what I did for this movie;

I selected Main movie and IFO files with Decrypter. I then held the "ctrl" key and selected every menu VOB. This are all the VTS_xx_0.VOBs as well as VIDEO_TS.VOB.

Then I opened up VobBlanker and blanked out every VTS except for the main movie and VTS_01. VTS_01 contains the main menu. I believe the movie was in VTS_02.

To speed things up, I do not process the VTS that I do not Blank anything in. I just use IFOEdit. Open any IFO and press "Get VTS Sectors". That's it.

After that Shrink should have no problems.

Next I cleaned disc (though it was new), ran decrypter, ran shrink, no problem.

Yeah, sometimes one spec of dust is enough to make a movie unrippable...

But the first copy I made with just Shrink (on the fly, so to speak) turned out perfect. This was after I tried DVDFab decrypter and before I tried Decrypter the first time (which yielded files that Shrink gave me an error message about VOB_5).

Did WOW yesterday, no problems.. Used AnyDVD/Shrink/Nero
It's a big one. Did a Movie only and after eliminating all the extra sound tracks and crap it was still at 74% so, did a deep analysis and AEC at smooth.. After about an hour or so I had a very good copy..

I used good old DVDDecryter (still king of the hill!) and then used DVDRebuilder, movie only, with out problems it burned nicely by CopyToDVD! Easy movie to backup!
