I was using my pc (that i build) and i when in side to look at somthing but when my hand hit one of those power supply cable ,the cable hit my motherboard and there was a spark of of some kind and my pc shut down.
my power supply wouldn't start back up.
i think my mother board might be fryed but it does not show any sign of that plus my powersupply box smell burn't.
do u guy think it was just the power supply that was iffected ur did my processor get hit toooo.
plz help me i am going crazyyy!!!!

more than likely the psu bought it & 50/50 the motherboard itself did too tho probably not the cpu, ram, cards & drives. for that you have to have it test with another psu & maybe motherboard

yeah, i am already trying to get a hold of a pc the try my drives and cpu.
i am mostly conserned about my cpu and gpu those cost me alot.
motherboar i dont care about i got is for $30 any ways.

Have you tried just plugging in another power supply 2 see if evrything just comes on?

as sypher said try a new power suppy or inside some power supplies there is a fuse replace it and try again.also you could have fried alot more then just that mobo.as ddp put it keep us posted...peace

i putted a new power supply in and it works great.
just one thing anyof u guy know how to update bios and how do i know my own mother board bios
