Installing a DVD Burner

I have a Hp Pavilion pc, A282n series, I would like to install a dvd burner,it has a dvd rom and a cd burner now, the open and close buttons on the drives are on the side of the tower next to the drive,and the dvd740i I want to buy has the switch on the front, should i place it in the same slot as the dvd rom or the cd burner? How hard is it to install. will it work or should I look for one with a button on the side,have never changed a drive before.

This forum is for DVD recorders that sit near your TV and stereo system. There is a different forum for computer based DVD recorders.
