I have burnt over 100 DVDs but I need someone to please answer the following question.I have a perfact video file on my P.C but when I burn it with nero or any other programe it because pixalated on areas of rhe dvd with dark colors i.e black can anyone help me solve this problem I use philips DVD+R media

It is probably 2 things, bad media and burning too fast. YOU are using Phillips media which is not the very best you could buy. I suggest something like Taiyo Yuden or verbatim. SOny and Fuji are fine, but onlly if they are made in Japan, so read the label carfully. And try not to burn above 4x, 2x if you are using bad media.

Could I have your latest Nero log? Or the one that gave you taht bad burn? The logs are separated by these things:

====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======

Remember, just the last section. ANd remember to edit out your serial number, it usually starts w/ 1A2

Philips is horrible media, that is probably your issue with the pixellation :)

glueEater has pointed it out very well, try using TY/Verbs and DEFINITELY DO NOT BURN @8x on crappy media like Philips media~ slow it down~
