I have two dvd burners in a windows xp machine. Neither can read burned disks and sometimes blanks of the dvd-r type. Both use to read them just fine. It occurs with more than one brand of dvd-r media. I get a message that says windows can not read from the disk when I try to access it from windows explorer. The title of the disk is also not shown. The disks will play the dvd recorded movies that are on them, in the drive as well as stand alone dvd players. I happen to have a dual boot setup with windows 98. When in 98, everything works properly. I have tried a few things, but nothing works. Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this?
