The above rewriter in my brand new Sony Vaio laptop won't play region 1 dvds unless I change the region, and I can only do this 4 times! My DVD collection consists of region 1 and region 2 DVDs, so what am I to do?

AnyDVD and DVD Genie do not make any difference.

Any suggestions?
