I have used AnyDVD and DVD Shrink recent versions combination and it still doesn't work. It would start ripping than stop like about 50% of the way. Is there a new copy protection on this DVD that I should know about? If someone out there that can rip this movie with success can u please tell me you've done to make it work. Thank you much..

The new version of AnyDVD should do it. Also make sure the disc is clean and scratch free. If you still have trouble then its possible you have a bad press of the movie.

That's strange. I don't have AnyDVD. I just use DVD Shrink & do an analysis, then read & ripped, select the writer, put in a blank disk & go for my dinner. After dinner, the disk just ejected after finishing. Very easy.

There's nothing special on this one. As larrylje said maybe dirty disc or bad press.
I would also try ripping with decrypter - decrypter can be a great ripper for these type of 'problem' discs. Here's a guide also:
