Have you got the latest firmware for your burner?

Not sure what that means.......

Is this the error it gives you?

Are you multi-tasking whilst burning?

(Not trying 2 be smart ass) Maybe you should unload any proceses not
specific to burning.Antivirus software and others will hog too much of
your cpu's mind-share.Your cpu usage percentage should be under 8% going into the burn. And installs of different buring software(s) are
sometimes known to cause driver conflicts. So,your better off finding
a single burning software that works for you.

Here is a link for the firmware of Sony drives. You need to know the exact model number. You will find that info in device manager.

Let's have the very last section from your Nero log and we'll see what's causing the error. To get your Nero logs, go here: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory (for Nero 6 Ultra), or C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory (for Nero 7 Ultra).

NOTE: remember to edit/delete your Nero serial in prior to post here.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Well it was a hardware program, the dvd burner died, after a long and happy 3 year life

I now have a new one, and everything is working perfectly

Now I have this next problem :p I have FF7 advent children, 2 dvd's.
The 2nd dvd burns without errors, but the first dvd has problems with the IFO file, I tryed replacing it with the VOB file or something, but that one is corrupted to.

with videolan I can play the movie, with all languages and all subs, but when I burn Nero nags about the IFO file...

HOW DO I FIX THIS
