Do a search of these forums for NTLDR. It isn't your hard drive going bad. Your OS is screwed up.

NTLDR

Short for NT loader, NTLDR is a program loaded from the hard drive boot sector to your motherboard. Sure sign your HD has expired usually !

i wouldnt completely give up on your hard drive just yet as i have had similar problems that werent due to my hd dying just simply corrupted windows files. if you can, try booting up with another hard drive and using the problemed one as a slave to see if you can still access the files if you can just do a reinstall and that should be the end of your troubles (fingers crossed)

keep us posted

NTLDR is NOT a video card driver by a long shot but it is essential to booting any windows system later than windows NT4.0

a reinstall will fix ur prob

NTLDR is certainly not a video card issue at all. like most people have said, it is what boots windows. somehow that got messed up, but the hard drive should be ok.
get your windows disk, boot from it, and go into the recovery console. go to manual recovery and type FIXMBR
this will restore your windows bootloader and you should be back in business. if you have more than 1 hard drive in your machine, you need to go into the bios and make sure that the boot drive is the one with windows on it. good luck.

FIXMBR

Short for Master Boot Record, a small program that is executed when a computer boots up. Typically, the MBR resides on the first sector of the hard disk. The program begins the boot process by looking up the partition table to determine which partition to use for booting.

I have tried reinstalling windows and I have tried the recovery console, tried fixmbr. Windows recognizes the drive and also the size of the drive ,but says it can not access it.

Have you tried using the HD as a slave drive to see if you can access it from within windows?
