How to burn Xenosaga 1 using DVD-9? Please Help?

I have the ISO file of xenosaga 1 that is about 8.00 Gb is it correct to just burn the 8.00 GB Iso file into the DVD-9 (8.5 GB), will PS2 play the game as DVD-9. If not i also extract the Iso and got MDS and 2 IMG fies one is 4.8 Gb and the other 3.87 GB. Can i Burn the 4.8 alone in a DVD-9 and the other 3.87 in a dvd-5? does this make sense?

If you have a modchip with DVD-9 feature, then yes you can just burn it onto a dual layer disc. If not, then you have to flatten the size to fit on a DVD-5, but what kind of mod do you have? I'm not sure about just burning the 2 separate files onto 2 separate DVDs, I imagine that there would be something special to do first.

Thanks for replying i was giving up!
I have Swap Magic 3.6 and have tried to rip the game into 3 DVD5 there is guide posted by dnm but it requires LBA table indexing that don't know how to:

Offset New LBA value
3CF 030000
3DF FCCD00
B04 3D9F01
If you know how to do that can u please tell or at least explain where is LBA found in the HEX Editor's table?

There is also a rip kit (using command GO.BAT) but there are also problems like some file are not found!

I have waisted so many DVDs 5 and 9 so please any help is greatly appreciated...
