for the love of god can someone help me. i was looking through the threads to see what problems there are for the game. and i noticed that there is a problem with the game skipping. and slow speed. well i was read throguh like i said and then people started to go off topic and i cant understand what they are chatting about.
so....
basically i have an iso.
i want to burn it onto a dvd+r and play
what do i do to make sure i dont get these problems.

thanx, so do i need to rebuilt, i enevr had to do that befor. by the way just for information i have an iso i downloaded in case that is a problem with it comes down to burning.

game that need rebuilt are only ones over 4.35Gbs or 4.37,if u iso is like this,then u will need to rebuild

OH.... sorry for the double post bgut i use imation DVD+R 8x. backed up alot of other games and they all work. its only recently i noticed that its not working. i am using swap magic 2.0 and slide tool. people are chatting about using swap magic 3.6 and all the newer games should work. well i have a question about that. i had an iso for true crime new york city and when i burned it at 6x with alcholo 120% its burned and it worked until the guy pushes the screen and then it says please insert ps2 game. well i wanted to know if i got a swap magic 3.6 would that fix my problem?

oooo,i would get rid on them imation dvds,there are crap,and they do not burn well and will burn out ur laser faster,yes alot of people are stuck with that issue on 2.0,u can get 3.6 if u lucky enough to download and burn and boot up with 2.0,if not buy it and it will solve ur problems,2.0 is outdated,hope this helps

ok i dont know much about DVD+R so i go with you and say my dvd+rs are shit. what is a good one to have? and i can only burn at 6x. thats the lowest speed. i got the swap magic thing 3.6, its a file that is an iso and is about 100mb big. there is one for dvd and one for cd. the thing is how do i use this. i burned the dvd one onto a cd like i read on other thread but wwhats the steps i need to do. and whats this thing i hear about cd loader?

if you use 8X speed DVD's then burn them at 4X
If you use 4X then do then at 1X
Philips, TDK, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Verbatim Datalife
those are the most commonly used media types
I use Philips 8X DVD-R all the time and get great results
I prefer the -R much more than the +R
Imation, although they may work, are cheap media and you should
really save them for movies and get something better for your games.
And also update you version of Swap Magic
2.0 is so outdated by now as they have already released 3.0 and then 3.6 since then. I hated 2.0 when i used it.

well i ordered a swap magic 3.6 now :)
but i have one question would this fix my problem with true crime new york city?
like i said before, the games loads and then goes to the guy pushing the screen and after that its ask for a ps2 game.

i know you most of heard this before, but it might be the media that you are using. try burning at slow speed. i burned the game at 6x an dit plays fine. you might need swapmagic 3.6. after i got it it fixed alot of my gaming problems.
