i am having problems burning audio cds with my lite-on sohw-1639s dvd burner. when i burn an audio cd, all the tracks except the last one turn out fine. the last one, however, has click and pops in the sound, and sometimes will cause whatever cd player its in to just stop completely for a few seconds. now, just 2 days ago, i was having no problems burning audio cds at all. so naturally i think it has something to do with the drive, so i install one of my older cd burner drives and try to burn an audio cd. i get the SAME PROBLEM, clicks in the sound of the last track, so that means it cant be the drive, but what is wrong? id really love some help, im getting so angry.
so then i thought it might be the burning software im using. im burning with nero 6.3, which i love. i searched on google for some free burning programs and installed one, called burnatonce, available at http://www.burnatonce.com/ , but i got the same problem.
so then i get to thinking, maybe i should fool with the settings. i used to use
disc at once
0 pause between tracks
so i changed it to:
track at once
0 pause between tracks
and its a little better now. there are VERY few clicks and pops in the last track now, maybe 1 or 2 (before there was like 50) over 4 minutes.
