does using flashget and utorrent at the same time damages the hard ware?

i always been having problems with my bt since i am in a school dorm. so recently i start downloading using flashget and bt at the same time. i found a site where i can use ftp download to get what i want. however that site limits one ip to 10kb per second. So to increase my total download speed. i am using bt and flashget at the same time.
i been getting some strange things happening.
one time when i used them both at the same time the internet stop working. i stop receiving data. one of the light keeps on blinking while the other one stoped. i disable the local area network and reenable it again and it seem to work fine. have anyone else had any similar problems.
also i am wondering does using two programs to download at the same time damages ur hard drive or something?

No. not at all.

Sorry, I cannot relate to any of your other problems, but using two methods of downloading will not harm your HD in any way.
