Anyone here use BulletProofSoft's Spyware/Adware Remover? I use it and it seems to work great, the only thing is Spybot Search and Destroy sees it a Spyware.

So what's really the deal? Is it spyware or not? does it do the job it's supposed to do?

Well, it's at least based on altered and hacked version of Spybot and that's why I wouldn't personally trust it.

Quite impossible to say, but I wouldn't use it as I already said. Eg. ewido is way better and free -> http://www.ewido.net/en/download
Try it, I think you'll love it :) It also finds viruses/trojans and can also clean malicious entries from registry.

I'll try it thanks. Anyway back to BPS. it looks like everything you would expect from a anti-Spyware program, it evens has a firewall! It has good detection and removes anything it detects. So other than them ripping off from Spybot ( I think that's their issue)it seems to be a really good program.

Yeah, it MAY be a good program. And it was listed as a rogue only because of its origin: hacked version of Spybot. If I read correct ;)

I've been having a problem lately with spyware and adware. Will ewido remove all of that or is there anything else that I would need. I'm using Defender Pro 2005 for my antivirus program.

Well, no program is perfect :) But ewido is very good one. Try it, you'll see :)
