I'm looking for a micro ATX mobo with onboard video.

Whats the best brand to buy.
I've heard gigabyte and asus are good.

You would be correct. Now what else do you need with this board? You gonna buy video card or onboard graphics? How much money you gonna spend? Gonna steal parts off your old pc? The possibilities are endless. You will probably need a power supply if its old (I think its 12v, it has to have a square 4 pin connector for P4) and if you want a newer board with pci-e I think you need special cables for that too, don't have one but have heard that somewhere. Someone will tell me if I'm wrong.

try these programs to calculate psu wattage. your dimensions are good for standard sized psu. don't think need special cables for pci/e but need it for sata drives or use a adapter from regular power connector to sata.

depends as might have micro psu but connected to an adapter plate on backend of case allowing standard size psu. have 2 micro cases with dead micro psu's that now have regular p4 type psu's.

Last question

What size power supply would i need to get to fit useing the specs on the old one (earlier in thread) ATX or Micro ATX or ATX12v

I think I answered my onwn question
http://www.directron.com/psu.html
ATX: 6x3.5x5.5", HxWxD. Most common. Uses 4 mounting screws.
Mini-ATX: 5x3.5x5", HxWxD. Rare size. Uses 4 mounting screws. Can be used in a regular ATX case, but often not the other way around.
MicroATX: 5x3x4", HxWxD. Use 3 mounting screws. Not interchangeable with ATX or miniATX.
