Azureus tracker error

Azureus displays a tracker error whenever I attemt to download a torrent. The problam was intermitten in the beginning and would go away when I restarted the download or Azureus. After a couple days of use, the tracker error always comes up and I can't get any torrents to download, no matter the number of seeds.

What should I do?

Try and chose a new port # and run shields up to see if ur open. what port # r u on now?

I'm on port 6881. How do you "run shields up"?

Port 6881 is outdated and black listed by all trackers. Chose a different number in the 50000 range. Are u behind a router?, if so those ports need to be forwarded as well. Restart the client and d/l a healthy torrent.

I changed it to port 56881 and the firewall test cleared, but I still get a tracker error.
