hi i have a 15mb download speed and 2mb upload speed, i have read all the tutorials on how to set up my bittorents, i am using bitlord and that is were i currently get my highest speeds, my problem is that i am only get speeds around 150kbs, i have read other people with faster speeds that have a significantly lower brandband then me, i have no router i am running the internet straight in the comp, i have the uploads set to about 190kbs, does anyone know of anything i can do to get higher speeds, also i get torrents with a pretty good amount of seeders to leachers

thanks

U have tried Azureus and/or bitcomet?. Because bitsoup is a fairly decent site. I suggest using Azureus first. What port #'s are u using?, are they outdated?, did u run shields up?, and r u open?.

Let me know ;-D

No sig for u!.

yes i have tried azurues that was my first choice but with that i had speeds even slower, as for the ports im using, i just click listen to port and then random port. Im using mcafee firewall which is configured to allow bitlord to run, That is all i have done should i do something else?

Did u allow only the .exe of bitlord through your firewall, or did u allow actual ports?. because u need both, I'm on windows firewall so I'm not sure where in mcafee u can do this, but I'm sure u can. Once u do u can see if thier open by going to this link:
https://grc.com/x/portprobe=

After the = u put in the port number ur using, eg: 51874. U should be using port #'s in this range.

No sig for u!.
