The game's being sent to me via GameFly right now. If I want to rip the game (using DVD Decrypter), what problems am I likely to face (including if I were to DNAS patch the game)?

u should edit ur post,its illegal to copy a game,unless its your own backup,
if u have a modchip,str8 burn,if using SM3.6 u have to replace the dummy file!

So? People keep admitting around here they're downloading .RARs of games and they go unmodded.

Take the dummy file out or replace it with a much smaller one

And I don't know if I'm going to do it. I forgot that I'm running out of "good" media (I've only got one disc left and I have another plan for it).

If I do copy it, its likely I'll buy it first (since that's what GameFly's prices are way better than stores) so I can have a known working copy.

You need to use DVD descriptor and then you need to Re-build the games and that will take care off the dummy file for you! Once you have the new I$O you'll need to patch the game for online capability. I have a back up copy and it works 100 %.

I think I'll just use ISO Buster and take care of the dummy file myself. I don't know how to rebuild and I don't care to learn until I absolutely have to (say, if I want to rip Path of Neo).
