hi guys ive jst downloaded Call Of Duty 2:Big red one it plays fine and everything the only problem is its IN GERMAN! all the language that they speak is German and the menu's etc is there any way @ all that i can have this in ENGLISH bear in mind i thought this game would b English as it was PAL please can sum1 help me r just give me a yes/no answer to my Question thanks

Well, at the start of the game it has a language selector on the backups from original.. has this selector been removed then? or are you accidentally selecting the german version from the menu?
To get the english version..select the british flag.

If that doesn't work then the only thing I can assume is that whoever made the rar files took out the uneeded language files to make the iso smaller.

thanks for your response but there didnt seem 2 b a lanuage selection screen at the beginning could this be because i had my memory card iin when i started the game? im not sure if the language files have been removed are not how can i check/tell? if they have is there a way thjat i can get the ENGLISH olanguage file and overwrite then german one if its possible? also i dont get what you mean by there is a language selector from the backup? please can u help me out a little more thanks :)

What I mean is, when I made a backup from the original disc it copied the whole disc including the language selector that should come up at the start. If you're not getting that selector (with flags) then the iso you downloaded must have been altered so that it will only work with german language/subtitles.. so the person who made that available to downlaod through torrent or whatever must have deleted the other language files or something.
All you can do now I think is either find another torrent to download an english version or get the original, sorry.. if the files aren't on there, then there's not much anyone can do about it.

Not sure if that's possible, sorry.

I think you'll just have to make a backup from an original or chance downloading a dodgy torrent file again.

there aint language selection screen @ all not even in the options so is there any way i can fid an english language pack n put it in the ISO thats ive got to make it english? is that possible?

Dude, I am so sorry... I got mixed up with brothers in arms: earned in blood... that has the language selector on it with the flags. Been playing both of them a lot and got confused.. doh!!!
I'll have a look at call of duty 2 and see if it has language files etc for ya.

I think this must be one of the few games where they must have a different language version for each country of europe. I had a good try for you.. changed my system configuration to german, started new game but it still came up with english... my swap magic disc loaded in german too... so it must just be the iso you downloaded is german... nothing you can do about it except wipe it and get another iso from somewhere else.
