I have just been onto to bit soup and you have to pay for the download. I was wondering if any body knows the name of the software so I can search for it on Limewire to see if I can download for nothing.

You do not HAVE to pay for bitsoup.org - Just keep a good ratio - if u find that too hard then by all means pick up one of their bargains like 50G for $10US - not a bad trade off if you aint the sharing type. Great site!

I am the sysop of http://www.bitsoup.org and I felt I need to reply to this.

Our site, Bitsoup, does not charge money for accessing or using the site. Everybody that wants to can sign up to our site at no charge what so ever and have access to every torrent on the site absolutely free.

There is only 1 true Bitsoup, and it will NEVER be a pay to play site. Any site trying to look like us and/or taking advantage of our name by using it in a slightly different spelling, telling you that you have to pay in order to download the torrents, is nothing more than a scam trying to rip people off by using the name our community has built itself.

Im a long time member of http://www.bitsoup.org

I have Never been made to pay 1 thin red cent for my downloads in the year and a half i been a member there ... and they have damn fast torrents too ;)

Donations are possible there thru paypal but it is a Users Choice

Ive donated there of course and am very happy there as a VIP Donner

they have a helping staff and are a very reasonable bunch (i was used to public trackers lol) ... but they showed me the light and now im a smarter sharer for it :)

when i took the time too look into this Fake bit-soup website i came to find somthing verry shocking

read this please .
Quote:
Information Sharing
We ensure that your Personal Information will not be disclosed to anyone "OTHER" than a government institution or authority when required by law or other regulation
that basicly means that bit-soup.org (note the "-") will take your info and will not gaurd your privacy.... i fear for thier users .... someone should say somthing to the ppl that paid them and are about to get thier info handed off to .

i can tell you that if you read the user agreement at http://www.bitsoup.org you will plainly see that the owners of that site protect thier members privacy ;)

thank you DH ...you are the best

So in short i think it should be made clear that:

http://www.bitsoup.org is "GOOD"

and

http://www.bit-soup.org is "BAD"
